Meet Donatella. Her family owns the Gucci empire and she's not subtle about it. Well...by her "family" it's really a second cousin once-removed by marriage on her step-mother's side. And Donatella lives in Columbia. South Carolina. Also her real name is Emily but she insists Donatella is a family name. That does not stop her from establishing her questionable lineage in the most public and sensational ways possible, all over town! Her fashion is over the top - a trip to Home Depot calls for generous black leather, giant sunglasses indoors, and a knockoff Gucci stripe scarf. Her handbag is an actual Gucci - paid for through a year of saving up her Olive Garden tips, bless her. She is 100% on the long, rounded-tip nail bandwagon and honey, those things are mauve. Donatella wouldn't be caught dead in flats or sandals, so you'll need to plan accordingly. Melvin the mail carrier is well aware of her Gucci ties, as is Pam at the nail salon. And everybody else she encounters more than once. Her Boston Terrier's name is Gucci, and every time she is invited to anyone's home she brings an Italian dish. Fortunately, Donatella doesn't notice the frequent eyerolling that accompanies her presence, and she keeps herself busy with her Italian lessons and planning out her perfect trip to the homeland (fingers crossed 2023!). Until then, she'll huff breadsticks around at work and treat you like family...sort of. Ciao!
Has Delilah double-booked?? She definitely did the first week of summer and they missed VBS. She'll check her calendar. She does know that her son has a sleepaway baseball camp in three weeks. Maybe that's when she and her daughter go to the lake...
He was so different from her - wild, undisciplined, hedonistic in every way. It was like they were from two different worlds but she was so fascinated by him and his lifestyle that she found herself dating him before long. Florence found that Ariel wasn't returning her calls, and was never available.
She filed for divorce and embarked on the rest of her journey on her own. Freed from her abuser's oppression, Tina achieved what has been described as "one of the greatest comebacks in music history."
