Re-introducing Esther (and her various iterations). She’s an artist living in Brooklyn and wants errrrbody to know it. Even though she doesn’t care what we think. Is that Esther dressed ironically in a drapey vintage dress a la “Working Girl” circa 1982 wearing combat boots with it, and topped off with frizzy wild hair and bright red lips? Why yes it is. The tortured artist within her sometimes makes her look like she is homeless but it’s all for the craft. Esther rejects the greed and individualism of capitalism - it’s a disgusting construct of man’s baser, selfish instincts and she has evolved to put the greater good of her fellow man above her own wants. How much is her painting, you ask? Oh, $11,467 for the 16” x 20”. Of course her studio is in a giant loft space with exposed brick and ashtrays full of joints and mannequin parts strewn about (to make people feel like they don’t get it). She adores psychedelics and loves to discuss the virtues of Che Guevara but only to be provocative. Her dirty secret is that she has an investment portfolio and is sleeping with her biggest collector. Esther’s favorite song is “Ironic” by Alanis Morisette. Has Delilah double-booked?? She definitely did the first week of summer and they missed VBS. She'll check her calendar. She does know that her son has a sleepaway baseball camp in three weeks. Maybe that's when she and her daughter go to the lake...
He was so different from her - wild, undisciplined, hedonistic in every way. It was like they were from two different worlds but she was so fascinated by him and his lifestyle that she found herself dating him before long. Florence found that Ariel wasn't returning her calls, and was never available.
She filed for divorce and embarked on the rest of her journey on her own. Freed from her abuser's oppression, Tina achieved what has been described as "one of the greatest comebacks in music history."
